Kelley, Theresa, and I left Tuesday night and stayed with Kelley's friend Tracy. We had some good eats! Breakfast started at The Mission. We ate like Kings!
In addition, we got blackberry pancakes, more potatoes and eggs, and roast beef hash. The hash was just pieces of beef sprinkled on top of potatoes with horseradish sauce. Kind of disappointing that it wasn't fake canned meat!
*this is Theresa, the first girl i shared a bed with. lol
*kelley on the left, tracy on the right
After a long breakfast we headed to the SD convention center and saw some cool things. Here are some highlights (for more check my fleuretica blog):
*one of the tabletop entry finalists. the candelabras were made of lucite and the louis chairs were upholstered with hot pink leather and cameos applied.
*if you ever want an indoor sand volleyball court for your party...know that it's possible! with bikini clad chicks to boot!
*some simulation...it looked fun but the line was really long to play
*that rrivre...genius! this was a freakin huge structure, perfect for my carnival wedding
*my favorite chameleon chair cover
*i'm supposed to recreate this crystal lampshade with chandelier for Theresa's outdoor, intimate wedding laden with cakes and desserts and possibly ice cream.
*THIS is inspiration...velon designs!
*"do what you would do if you were in a limo" and then he gave us a rubber chicken
I walked away from the convention with a lot of ideas and hopeful for Fleuretica. Gotta step it up! I also walked away hungry...so Tracy took us to Extraordinary Desserts.
*satc! i call miranda
*i'm really into egg shaped designs right now as i've been looking for inspiration revolving around my oval business cards. this was awesome!
*let us eat cake
*and muffins and cookies and bread puddings
*the caribe: dark chocolate, banana, mango with passion fruit puree

*white and dark chocolate creme brulee cake
*bread pudding made with chocolate croissants
*the aftermath. hurricane euri destroyed!
*after an extraordinary lunch
We ended our trip in San Diego with hot pot at Tracy's house. Good eats, good times!
